LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!

I am so excited and I cannot wait to see them! If any of you who follow me are near my location, PLEASE let her do your pix. I've seen children, families, weddings.... I think she dabbles in it all! Here are the peeks she gave me and she got Bella's ugly face with cake everywhere!!

So it's been a while.

Sorry. It's been kinda like hell around here. I won't go into it because I am so worn out about it all. Let's just say hubs screwed up and literally broke my cardinal rule and I am at a loss of what to do. I was actually sick for a couple of day. Other than that, it's been busy. The day after my last post was out 9 year anniversary, not married, just together, but that day didn't go as planned. Ugh. That Saturday was a birthday party for a friend's daughter at the splash pad. It was so nice but the kids are not fans of the splash pads yet. Last week was when the crap hit the fan but we still had plans. Friday was the 1st football game at my alma mater. We won against a team we haven't beat since 2005 and it was the kids 1st game! They did so well the whole 3 hours! Saturday we had another birthday party for another friend's daughter. She is a week older than Kaleb & Bella and she had a really cute party. Yesterday (Sunday) we had the twin's 1 year old photoshoot. They cried some but overall did very well... especially when the cake became involved. They devoured it, they even shook some due to the sugar high. I'll post some pix at the end.
This week is Kaleb & Bella's 1st birthday... Thursday to be exact. I am hoping it's a wonderful day for them. I cannot believe it has been a whole year since they came into my life. Seems like yesterday I was taking a pregnancy test. Guess that's all for now.... enjoy the pix and video!

I mentioned I got my grandmother's wedding set for my 25th birthday. Well, she was teeny and I'm not so I had to have it sized. I got it back a few days ago and they shined it up too! It's sooooo pretty! Oh and ignore my terrible nails. Wish I could stop biting the stupid things.

YAY!

Bella looked at me and said 'MaMa' today! I know she has said it before but she is always upset when she says it like when she cries she'll start hollering 'mamamamamama' like 5 times in a row and it sounds more like just jabbering... but she was sitting in my lap and I was tickling her and I said 'say Mama' then she looked up and said it too! I was like O.O
Kaleb has yet to do it though... every time I ask him to say it he says 'bye bye' lol

Been so distracted.

A lot going on lately, and it is more of the twins requiring attention than anything else! But I do have a new video for you guys! Enjoy!

It's been a year.

It's been 1 whole year since heaven received one of the most beautiful souls ever to grace this earth, my baby brother Tyler. He showed us more in his 12 years of life than we will ever learn in our entire lifetimes all put together. No matter how much pain he was in, he was ALWAYS smiling. I've never seen a happier child. He cared for his family deeply.
I remember this day 1 year ago. I was taken off work early so I could relax at then end of my pregnancy. I was EXACTLY 3 weeks from the arrival of Kaleb & Bella, although I didn't know it yet. My dad called me and told me that he may not make it through the day. Jerry & I rushed over there. It was so sad and somber. I can still feel the huge wall of emotions crashing into me by walking in that house. There were family there as well as some of his hospice. I walked over and kissed him and he did what he did best, he looked at me and smiled. Always a smile. It was quiet and we sat for a few hours and then the mood lightened. Everyone started to talk. We discussed my twins and their impending arrival. Everyone talked and everyone laughed. Knowing Tyler's spirit, he couldn't leave us sad. He waited until everyone was happy, smiling and laughing before he made his exit. I can imagine him telling the angels 'Just wait. I know they will be laughing soon, give me until then'. It all became somber again when everyone stopped laughing and we discovered he had stopped breathing. I remember when my grandmother died, the last line in her bulletin from the funeral home said 'God breaks our hearts to prove that He only takes the best.' Tyler was just another piece of God's grand puzzle. I learned more in the 12 years of his life than I will ever learn. He taught us so much. I believe in miracles and Tyler was this families miracle.
I miss you everyday little brother and I am so glad you are in heaven and do not have all the restrictions this world put on you. I can imagine you running and talking and I bet you never get tired of it, you have years to make up for after all. I cannot wait until we meet again. I LOVE YOU.

So Sorry.

I have been super MIA lately but we have been SOOOOOO busy! Last week was my birthday but not a lot happened. Just small family get togethers. Kaleb and Bella are walking so well. I am so proud! They are 11 months and just going everywhere. They still have to hold their arms out for balance but they are getting the hang of it!
Nothing 'exciting' happened this week. We took another trip to the splash pad Wednesday. It was 102 degrees without the heat index. It was miserable so we cooled off! Thursday and Friday it rained but it was a welcome relief from this heat! Saturday we had a family reunion at, of all places, a mexican restaurant. Nothing special though.
Tomorrow is a friend of mine's birthday so we had a little party Saturday night at her house. Had some drinks, played some games. I had a nice get away from mommyville and the kiddos tried this new thing called 'Spending the Night' with their Nonnie... I was fine until about 1 am when I got home and walked into their bedroom to check on them and they weren't there. Guess it was a 1st of many more to come. I was able to sleep until 11 Sunday and got ready and went to get my babies and took them to their OTHER grandparents and Jerry took me to see 'Friends with Benefits' and to eat at Olive Garden for a belated birthday evening. It started storming about an hour into the movie and was coming a monsoon when we were ready to leave. Hail and all. But we had a pretty good evening. The kiddos were back in their own beds last night so I was a happy camper. This morning they woke up, ate and fell right back to sleep and are still asleep, so I was able to get a shower, wash and dry a load of cloths, dust and write this entry! Go me! But better try and get something else done before they decide it's time to destroy the house. :)
I'll leave you with a pic of my lovies I took the other day when they were eating their crackers. Yes, Kaleb is wearing pink but it take a REAL man to wear pink and he rocks it!

Well this isn't a photo of me, actually taken TODAY but it was taken 2 days ago at my birthday get together at my mom's, along with my WONDERFUL chocolate jubilee.

3 good things that have happened to me in the last 30 days??
#1 Jerry FINALLY got a good job! I am SO proud of him! That's more of a good thing that happened to 'us' but still, it's great.
#2 The kids started walking!
#3 Would turning 25 count as a good thing? Maybe, so I will include it.

11 Months.

This makes me sad. Today is August 1st and Kaleb and Bella are 11 months old today. 11 Months!! Where did the last year go? This time next month, I will be wishing my BABIES a Happy 1st Birthday! I never thought I would get this overly emotional about it. They are literally growing up right before my eyes. It's like yesterday they were tiny and sleeping all the time and now they are WALKING for crying out loud! They are doing so well walking too. They are walking to their destinations well or walking about 6 to 10 feet before falling. I am so proud of them. Before I know it they will be graduating high school and going off to college and getting married and making me a grandma. Hopefully in that order.
